The tendons in the wrist are vulnerable to injury due to over-practise or improper use. Professional golfers develop tendonitis when playing too much and not allowing the wrists to have enough rest, while inexperienced players are more likely to suffer tendonitis through bad technique and lack of adequate wrist control.
